FOR A HIGH RISE BUILDING
Requirements
Extensive network of panels under control of an external BAS (building management system).
Cross-panel network where any number of outputs across different panels can be switched as a group.
Very large number of panels and total relays.
Sophisticated switching input types and switching options including dimming applications
Minimal inter-panel wiring.
Future expandability, including integration into other building control networks and systems.
Lighting Control Solutions
Douglas panel network of
LonWorks
components, which is configured and controlled by an external control or building management system.
Each panel can utilize the programmable relay scanner/network node combination or other Douglas
LonWorks
components to receive inputs and trigger outputs.
Outputs anywhere in the building can be grouped to an input.
Panel are interconnected with a simple 2-wire data signal which is under the control of the host system.
Inputs and outputs are recognized by the central system, which then assigns which relays are to be switched by an input and when.
Panel network can be integrated into any external control or building management system that follows the Industry-recognized
LonWorks
standards.
