Architectural Controls

Control systems for dimming incandescent, neon, cold cathode and fluorescent loads are commonplace in commercial, institutional, residential and retail applications. Architectural controls provide recallable presets or 'scenes' to give the appropriate lighting ambiance to facilities such as restaurants, convention facilities and places of worship.

Douglas Dimming Systems

Douglas manufactures panels containing dimmer modules, branch circuit breakers and control electronics. The control stations provide all the necessary programming and slider control using simple, easy to remember steps for settings or presets with fade rates.

Douglas manufactures and supplies a full range of Architectural Dimming products including:

• Dimmer Modules, for dimming incandescent loads. Panel mount design. Expanded dimming range for low light levels.

• ALD Dimmer Panels, preassembled with dimming modules and associated control hardware. 6-module or 12-module capacity.

• Dimming Control Modules, an interface module that allows incandescent loads to be dimmed by the dimmer modules in response to signals from the control station.

• ALC3 Dimming Control Stations, available with 1-16 sliders and up to 64 preset controls and All ON/OFF buttons. Also available with preset and All ON/OFF only or with All ON/OFF only. Wall-mounted.

• Remote Dimming Control, hand-held remote for adjusting dimming levels and turning lights ON/OFF.
