TrakPak
Current Limiting Panels
Most State Energy Codes require an energy deduction for each lineal foot of track lighting installed, restricting the number of fixtures. Installing the TrakPak Panel circumvents this restriction as it provides supplemental step-down breakers to reduce the current to the track circuits.
The volt-ampere rating of the breaker can be used instead of the lineal feet of the track light circuit, reducing the energy deduction and allowing more fixtures to be installed.
Trakpak Panels are available in 2 sizes: The 16" x 16" WTP-10xx which comes with 1 to 15 circuit breakers installed and the 20" x 30" WTP-20xx which comes with 16 to 42 circuit breakers installed. The circuit breakers can be of various amperage capacities from 0.5 to 16 amps, allowing flexibility of design in total watts per square foot calculations.
TrakPak panels include neutral terminals and ground terminals for all output circuits.
The TrakPak enclosures, which meet NEMA 1 Standard, are made of steel coated with ANSI/ASA Grey heat fused polyester epoxy. The hinged cover has a latching lock.
TrakPak Panels are approved for use under California Title 24 (Section 130(c) 3). The 2008 California Title 24 (Section 119) includes a mandatory requirement for integral current limiters for track lighting circuits.
