WSD wall-mounted occupancy sensor

  • A series of wall-mounted occupancy detectors designed to switch Douglas 2-wire relays or to signal other systems
  • Several dual-technology models are available that both measure PIR (passive infrared radiation) generated by motion and detect sounds typical of human activity
  • Combining PIR and sound detection allows the dual-technology units to sense occupancy through obstructions in all directions across a 180 degree arc
  • The dual technology units are available with 1 or 2 outputs (poles)
  • The dual-technology units are suitable for smaller rooms with obstructions such as an office or a bathroom with partitions
  • A PIR-detection-only model, the WSD-W-DL, is suitable for smaller rooms without obstructions
  • All units connect like a 2-wire switch
  • All units have programmable switching modes and adjustable time delay
