CM-PDT-DL Series Ceiling Mount Dual Technology Occupancy Sensors

  • Ceiling-mount occupancy sensor that both measures PIR (passive infrared radiation) generated by motion and detects sounds typical of human activity
  • Available in two shapes: for mounting flush on ceiling (shown above at left) or for mounting in a standard junction box recessed in ceiling (shown above at right)
  • Combining PIR and sound detection allows the unit to sense occupancy through obstructions in all directions
  • Connections similar to a 2-wire switch
  • Adjustable time delay
  • Options include (a) 2 outputs (poles), (b) signaling an external device or control system and (c) both a and b
  • Suitable for large rooms, large open spaces or hallways
  • Infrared-only model also available for mounting on very high ceilings up to 45' above floor level
